Haverhill Chamber Marks Small Business Week With Free Events Starting Tuesday

The Greater Haverhill Chamber of Commerce plans to mark Small Business Week starting Tuesday with a series of free events and activities geared to Merrimack Valley startups and entrepreneurs at the downtown iHub, 2 Merrimack St.

On Tuesday, May 7, a non-profit grant writing workshop takes place at 8:30 a.m., followed by a community co-working session on Wednesday, May 8 from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Wednesday’s Small Business Week event includes a Lunch and Learn presentation on business banking from TD Bank at noon. A 5:30 p.m. entrepreneur development series is also scheduled on Wednesday night.

Haverhill business owners from Cakes By Erin, 1620 Workwear and Alpha E Consulting are scheduled to present during a Friday, May 10 roundtable from noon-1:30 p.m., with lunch provided to all attendees.

All events are free with the exception of a social media marketing workshop on Thursday, May 9, which carries a $10 fee for Chamber members and $20 charge for prospective members.
