A 23-year-old woman from Haverhill was killed Sunday night after an SUV collided with a car on the Haverhill-Methuen line, Methuen Police Chief Joseph E. Solomon tells WHAV.
She was a passenger in one of the vehicles involved in the accident, Solomon said.
As of 8 p.m. as local and State Police continued to investigate the crash scene along the busy stretch of road that carries traffic along routes 110 and 113, Merrimack Street was closed in both directions, from Haverhill at Tobey Avenue and Methuen at Brookdale Avenue.
