The successful candidate will earn guaranteed income during the training and ramp-up period with a non-recoverable weekly draw against commission and unlimited earning potential thereafter. With no caps on commissions of up to 25%, the amount of income you earn is entirely within your control.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Reach out to a combination of company-supplied leads and your own prospects
  • Conduct thorough customer “Needs Analyses”
  • Develop and present “Solutions Presentations”
  • Negotiate and close appropriate marketing solutions (on-air, online and non-traditional)
  • Write error-free, creative and effective announcements and online web copy
  • Maintain regular schedules during normal business hours
  • Following all station procedures, enter and maintain customer orders and database records
  • Renew existing accounts prior to expiration
  • Assist in ensuring on-time payments
  • Create new relationships with local and regional businesses, particularly through in-person visits and cold calling

  • Previous sales experience, preferably in media, with demonstrated history of success and proven ability to grow revenue
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Basic understanding of PC computers
  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills
  • Active on social media
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • An acceptable motor vehicle and willingness to travel locally
  • Professional appearance
