Today’s Obituaries—April 15: Beaudoin, Carroll, Garrett, Kelly, Seaman

Jeannette Marie (Dow) Beaudoin, 92, of Haverhill, died peacefully at Penacook Place Nursing Home in Haverhill, after a period of declining health. She was the wife of the late Kenneth Beaudoin, leaving behind a large extended family including five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Private burial takes place at Elmwood Cemetery in Haverhill. Arrangements were entrusted to Paul C. Rogers Family Funeral Home, 334 Main St., Haverhill.

John F. Carroll, 69, died unexpectedly April 4 at Holy Family Hospital at Merrimack Valley. He was the husband of Rosalind E. (D’Auria) Carroll. A U.S. Army veteran, Carroll worked for many years as the chief orthopedic technician at Lowell’s St. Joseph’s Hospital. Arrangements under the direction of Dole, Childs & Shaw Funeral Home, 148 Main St., Haverhill are private.

Bruce E. Garrett, 70, a resident of Kingston, N.H., since 2012, died Saturday, April 13 at Saint Elizabeth’s Hospital in Brighton, following a long illness. Born and raised in Haverhill, Garrett managed the Kentucky Friend Chicken franchise in the city before working as a materials handler at Western Electric, AT&T and Lucent. He most recently worked as a maintenance supervisor at Wakita Camp Ground. A life celebration is planned for Tuesday from 5-7 p.m. at Berube-Comeau Funeral Home, 47 Broadway, Haverhill. His funeral is Wednesday at 9 a.m. from the funeral home with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in All Saints Church, 120 Bellevue Ave., Haverhill. A private family burial service is planned for a later date in Holy Angels Cemetery, Plaistow, N.H.

Kelvin O. “Kelly” Brooks, 89, of Bradford, died Friday, April 12, at his home, surrounded by family, after a period of declining health. A Navy veteran, Brooks retired with 35 years of service from Raytheon. At his request, funeral services are private and held at the family’s convenience. Arrangements are by the H.L. Farmer & Sons Funeral Homes, Haverhill and Bradford.

Marlene E. Seaman, 82, widow of Donald M. Seaman, died Saturday April 13 at the High Pointe Hospice House surrounded by her family. A member of All Saints Parish, Seaman worked at several companies including Bargain Circus Retail, Mal’s Department Store and Kmart. Calling hours are Tuesday, April 16 from 4-7 p.m. at the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main St., Haverhill. Christian funeral services will be held on Wednesday morning in the funeral home at 10 a.m. Burial follows in Linwood Cemetery, John Ward Avenue, Haverhill.
