Today’s Obituaries – April 9: Fasulo, Green, Hewson

William J. Fasulo, 94, of Haverhill, died Saturday evening, April 6, at Holy Family Hospital, Methuen. A WWII U.S. Army sergeant serving in Okinawa, Korea and Hiroshima, Fasulo served as a Haverhill Police officer for 15 years after being honorably discharged. He later retired from Topsfield’s Proctor School, where he served as music director for over 25 years. A 1990 recipient of Haverhill’s Citizen of the Year Award, Fasulo was a longtime president of the Haverhill Musicians Association and fixture at the Bradford Common summertime concerts. Calling hours are Thursday, April 11 from 4-7 p.m. at the H.L. Farmer & Sons Funeral Home, 106 Summer St., Haverhill. His funeral service and burial are private and at the convenience of the family.

David Timothy Green, 55, of Haverhill, formerly of Lynn and Topsfield, died April 6 at the High Pointe Hospice House in Haverhill. Holding a master’s degree in juvenile criminal justice, he was employed at Hill House in Rowley as a residential counselor until illness forced him into early retirement. He also sang in his church choir and created a neighborhood watch in his Topsfield community. A funeral service takes place Thursday, April 11 at 4 p.m. at the Our Savior Lutheran Church, 478 Boston St., Topsfield. Burial is private. Arrangements are under the direction of the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home 486 Main St., Haverhill.

Therese Audrey (David) Hewson, 62, a longtime Haverhill resident, died peacefully on Monday, April 8 at Amesbury’s Hillside Rest Home. A Funeral Mass of Christian Burial is celebrated on Friday, April 12 in All Saints Church, 120 Bellevue Ave., Haverhill, at 11 a.m. Arrangements by Driscoll Funeral Home, Haverhill.
