Today’s Obituaries: April 1: Innello, McGonagle, Woodman

Rose M. (Crisafulli) Innello, 92, of Haverhill, wife of the late Michael J. Innello, passed away March 27, at High Pointe Hospice, Haverhill. Calling hours are Thursday, April 4, from 5-8 p.m., at Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main St., Haverhill. Funeral services are Friday, April 5, in the funeral home at 10 a.m. Burial follows in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, 999 Belmont St., Watertown.

James J. “Jimo” McGonagle III, 62, of Lawrence and formerly of Haverhilll, died March 27, at Lawrence General Hospital. He was a graduate of Haverhill High School, class of 1975, worked for Aramark Uniform Services and, for the past 14 years, was employed with the Massachusetts State Lottery as a field representative. Calling hours are Wednesday, April 3, from 4-7 p.m., at Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main St., Haverhill. Funeral services will be in the funeral home Thursday morning at 10.

Jonathan J. Woodman, 77, of Newburyport and formerly of Haverhill, passed away Sunday afternoon, March 31. He began his own architectural practice in the living room of his former grandparents’ house in Haverhill, where he and his wife Betsy made their home. He was known as a critic of Haverhill’s urban renewal project, but played a large role in having the city’s Washington Street added to the National Register of Historic Places. Woodman became one of the first to restore a building in Newburyport’s Urban Renewal District. A graveside service at Parker Cemetery on High Road will be private. To be announced at a later date, there will be a memorial and music service at the First Religious Society, Unitarian-Universalist, Newburyport.
