Monday, March 18
Haverhill High’s Site Council gathers in the 137 Monument St. school’s conference room to hear an update on HHS turnaround plan efforts and other upcoming events. The meeting kicks off at 3 p.m.
Tuesday, March 19
MassHire’s Merrimack Valley Workforce Board connects in Lawrence at 255 Essex St., 4th floor, to discuss budget needs and the issuing of grants starting at 8 a.m.
From 9-10 a.m., the Haverhill Board of Assessors meets in room 115 of City Hall, 4 Summer St.
The possible installation of a solar farm at 1037 Broadway is up for discussion at this week’s City Council meeting, held in the Theodore A. Pelosi Jr. Council chambers of City Hall. 97.9 WHAV FM broadcasts the meeting live starting at 7 p.m.
Wednesday, March 20
Hillview Montessori School’s Board of Trustees meets at 8:30 a.m. at the 75 Foundation Ave. charter location.
Plans for a citywide multicultural celebration continue to take shape during the Haverhill Cultural Council’s 6:30 p.m. session at the 10 Welcome St. Citizens Center.
Special building permits are considered by the city’s Board of Appeals Wednesday night at 7 p.m. in room 202 of City Hall.
The Vietnam Veterans’ Memorial Ad Hoc Commission hears an update on fundraising efforts for upgrades to Mill Brook Park during the group’s 7 p.m. meeting in City Hall’s room 301.
Thursday, March 21
The Haverhill Public Library’s Board of Trustees connects at 8:30 a.m. for a regularly scheduled session.
Grant application assistance is available at 6 p.m. in room 301 of City Hall for those interested in working with the Community Affairs Advisory Board.
Representatives from Essex Greenbelt speak during a gathering of members of the Merrimack Valley Planning Commission Thursday at 7 p.m. at the Planning Commission’s 160 Main St. office.

Historic tax credit applications are discussed during the Washington Street Historic District Commission’s 8:30 a.m. session at The Switchboard, 41 Washington St.
