Domenica “Mamie” Guaetta, 96, of Salisbury, passed away peacefully Friday, March 15, 2019 in Salisbury, MA. Domenica was born in Haverhill, December 25, 1922 the daughter of the late Antonio and Angelena (Bitonti) Guaetta. She was previously a resident of The Fernald School in Waltham as well as group homes in Merrimac and Salisbury.

Domenica loved Italian food, crafts and sitting in the swing at home. She truly loved and cherished every moment of her life and especially loved the outdoors, summer vacation at the beach at Plum Island, bowling and dancing.

Domenica is survived by her nephew, Dr. Frank A. Oberti, III of Bradford and by her niece Mary-Louise Conte and her husband John also of Bradford, MA. She also leaves behind two great-nephews, Eric Conte and his son, Piero and James Conte, one grand-niece Amanda Conte and countless friends. She will also be dearly remembered by her extended family at Bridgewell Group Home in Salisbury, MA.  In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her sister Mary R. Oberti and brother -in-law, Frank A. Oberti. She will be dearly missed for her kind heart and love of life.

Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours Saturday, March 23, 2019 from 10:00 – 11:00 AM at The Grondin-Carnevale Funeral Home, 129 Kenoza Ave. Haverhill, MA 01830. A funeral mass to celebrate her life will immediately follow at 12:00 PM from Sacred Hearts Parish, 165 South Main Street Bradford, MA 01835.
