City historian and former longtime educator Gus Reusch steps into the shoes of John Greenleaf Whitter at the March 5 meeting of Haverhill Women’s City Club, delivering a retelling of bits and pieces from the poet. Refreshments are served during the 1 p.m. session, held in the lower level of Carlton Street’s Advent Christian Church.
Future club gatherings are planned each Tuesday from September through December and February through April.
