Radio Drama This Week: The ‘Universe’ is Inside a Giant Spaceship

The Robert A. Heinlein science fiction story “Universe” tells the story of intergenerational space travelers who no longer realize they are inside a gigantic spaceship. The story first appeared in Astounding Science Fiction in May 1941 and as a Dimension X radio play in 1950. The radio play is broadcast by 97.9 WHAV FM Tuesday night at 10 with an encore performance at 1 a.m. Pictured is a Robert C. Stanley Jr. representation of the story appearing in a 1951 Dell 10 cent paperback.
