A call that a female may have jumped into the Merrimack River triggered a swift response from Haverhill Police late Friday night, with a search in the water, in the air, and with officers on the ground taking over Bradford in the area of the Basiliere Bridge.
Just after 10 p.m. Haverhill Deputy Chief Anthony Haugh told WHAV the person was found safe and unharmed.
