Three guesses what his favorite board game is! Methuen’s Satish Benjamin headed to Dorchester this week to claim his $1 million winnings from a $10 Monopoly Jackpot scratch ticket, Massachusetts State Lottery officials tell WHAV.
Purchasing his lucky ticket at Methuen’s Quick Stop II at 155 Lowell St., Benjamin opted to take the lump sum payment and received $650,000 less tax withholdings. He intends to invest a portion of his winnings, according to a Lottery rep.
The convenience store that sold the ticket receives $10,000.
