Members and city residents are invited to join the Women’s City Club of Haverhill for afternoon tea Tuesday, Feb. 5 at 1 p.m. Carrying a Valentine’s Day theme, the session features a discussion of what courtship was like in 1908, with actress Rita Parisi getting into character and donning in period dress.

The gathering takes place on the lower level of the Advent Christian Church, 160 Carlton St., right off of route 97. Future sessions take place Tuesday through April and membership applications are available at all meetings.
