Bradford’s Kimberly Moulton headed to Lynn this week for a good cause—and hobnobbed with some Boston Celtics in the process. The city woman was one of several area volunteers to help the team build 40 basket-basketball-themed beds for youth in need.

The group was also joined in the construction effort by TD Bank’s CommUNITY Crew and had the opportunity to mingle with Celtics guard Brad Wanamader and forward Guerschon Yabusele.

“The community came together today for something bigger than basketball,” Wanamaker told WHAV in a statement. “What an opportunity to be here and help these volunteers in making an impact throughout the greater Boston area.”

Since 2011, the Celtics-sanctioned group of volunteers—dubbed the Green Team—have given back nearly 4,000 service hours to the local community.
