Haverhill high school students take note: The city’s Exchange Club is now accepting applications for three scholarships offering $2,000 in college tuition money. In addition to a $1,000 Youth of the Year Award, presented to a student who showcases academic and leadership excellence, two $500 prizes are also awarded at the conclusion of the school year.

The Accepting the Challenge of Excellence Award, affectionately dubbed the ACE Award, honors a student who overcame obstacles ahead of graduation, while the Maggie (Drossos) Rosinski Teaching Scholarship helps fund a future teacher’s college education.

Applicants must live in Haverhill and attend Haverhill High, Timberlane Regional, Pentucket Regional, or Whittier Regional Vocational Technical High School. Forms are available online at HaverhillExchangeClub.com, and materials must be postmarked by March 2 for consideration.

Winners are announced in March, with recipients honored during a lunch reception at Maria’s Restaurant in Haverhill.
