Kevin A. MacLeod, 83

On Dec. 4, Kevin A. MacLeod, loving and devoted husband and father, died at the age of 83.

Born on Feb. 18, 1935 in Haverhill to Richard and Alberta (Trottier) MacLeod, he graduated from Haverhill High School and went on to serve as a staff sergeant in the Army Reserve. MacLeod worked at the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard for six years before working as a cost analyst at BTU for over 40 years. MacLeod married wife Gwendolyn in 1958 and had six children.

With a love for the outdoors, MacLeod had a passion for camping, boating, and fishing, all of which he enjoyed doing together with his wife. Known for his quick wit and extra corny jokes, he loved to read and share family stories together over good food and drinks. He spent many summers at Mi-Te-Jo Campground with family and friends. An avid car enthusiast, MacLeod was most happy when cruising in his purple Plymouth Prowler roadster.

He was preceded in death by his wife Gwendolyn MacLeod, his daughter Deborah Fitzpatrick, his son Daniel MacLeod, and his brother Richard MacLeod. He is survived by his four children David MacLeod and his wife, Carol, Darryl MacLeod and his wife, Kimberly, Dana MacLeod and his wife, Lori, and Denise Gallant and her husband Michael, son-in-law, Michael Fitzpatrick and daughter-in-law, Diane MacLeod. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and several cousins, nieces and nephews.

Flowers are welcome; contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society.
