Nicholas John Costarides, 100, Managed Tic-Toc Restaurant

Nicholas John Costarides, 100, a lifelong resident of Haverhill passed away Thursday, Nov. 29, at Hannah Duston Healthcare Center.

He was born in Haverhill on Oct. 30, 1918, son of the late John N. and Catherine Costarides. Nicholas was educated in Haverhill and was the manager at the former Tic-Toc restaurant in Haverhill for many years. He was a longtime member of the Holy Apostles Saints Peter & Paul Greek Orthodox Church, where his father was one of the founders.

He enjoyed family, cooking, and watching the Red Sox and Patriots.

Nicholas was the husband of the late Carolyn (Hayes) Costarides who passed away in 2011 and father of the late Peter Costarides who passed in 2006. He is survived by his daughter Linda Costarides of Haverhill, his son John N. Costarides of Dorchester, sister-in-law Charlotte Costarides of Haverhill and several nieces and nephews.

At the family’s request, services are private with entombment in Linwood Cemetery, Haverhill. Arrangements are by the H.L. Farmer & Sons Funeral Homes, Haverhill and Bradford.
