Methuen Police this week arrested three Lawrence residents—including two teenagers—following a “violent” Tuesday home invasion on Methuen’s Tenney Street.

Twenty-nine-year-old Jonathan Thompson appeared in Lawrence District Court Thursday to answer to charges of home invasion, daytime breaking and entering, larceny and malicious damage over $1,200, Methuen Police Chief Joseph E. Solomon said.

A 15-year-old male and 17-year-old male were also arrested for their alleged roles in the home invasion and faced a judge in Lawrence Juvenile Court.

The Lawrence Police Department and State Police unit assigned to Essex County District Attorney Jonathan W. Blodgett’s office assisted with the investigation, which resulted in arrests less than 36 hours after the incident, Solomon said.
