UPDATE: Police Searching for Suspect in Alleged Haverhill Armed Robbery

UPDATE, 6:30 p.m.: Earlier this afternoon, Haverhill Police posted to the department’s Facebook page that a suspect had been located. However, spokesman Capt. Stephen J. Doherty Jr. tells WHAV no one has been apprehended in connection with the robbery and the investigation continues at this hour.

Police are searching for a suspect following an armed robbery with a knife at the Red Hen Pantry on 56 River St.

Haverhill Police posted on Facebook that residents of the Mount Washington area may notice a Mass State Police K-9 unit searching the area.

No other details are currently available.

A similar incident occurred at the Red Hen Pantry in October of 2017 when 24-year-old Davian Coote was arrested for stabbing an employee during an attempted armed robbery.
