Northern Essex Community College employees from across the Merrimack Valley—including two from Haverhill and Methuen—have received the school’s quarterly employee recognition award, the college announced last week.

Haverhill’s Margaret Lambert and Methuen’s Erin Colstad of Methuen, along with Domingo Torres of Lawrence, were chosen out of the college’s nearly 700 employees based on recommendations from supervisors and co-workers.

Lambert, a 2010 Northern Essex graduate and six-year employee, was nominated for the honor by a colleague who praised her willingness to go “above and beyond” to cater to students and staff of the Academic Placement and Testing Center. Colstead received praise for her work out of the Patient Simulation Centers in both Haverhill and Lawrence.
