Sharon A. O’Brien, 70, of Haverhill, passed away on Friday, Nov. 23 at The Sutton Hill Center in North Andover. O’Brien was born on May 9, 1948 in Lawrence, the daughter of the late Lawrence and Genevieve (Krafton) O’Brien. She was raised and educated in Boston. She loved animals and time with family and friends. She will be dearly missed.
O’Brien is survived by her siblings, Linda Beaudion and husband Richard of Plaistow, N.H., Lois Porter and husband Alan of Haverhill, Anna Voll and husband James of Lockport, N.Y., Ernest Kelley and Doreen Spaulding of Haverhill, Peter Kelley and Jennifer Mazur of Atkinson, N.H., and Michelle Hughes and husband Robert of Haverhill. She will also be dearly remembered by several nieces, nephews and dear cat George. She was predeceased by her stepfather, Ernest Kelley and three siblings Arthur O’Brien, Johnny Kelley and William Kelley. Her family would like to thank P.A.C.E. & Element Care in Methuen for the care and kindness they provided O’Brien and her family.
Services are private and are in the care of The Grondin-Carnevale Funeral Home, 52 Salem St., Bradford. In lieu of flowers the family kindly requests donations in her name be made to the Merrimack River Feline Rescue 63 Elm St, Salisbury, MA 01952.
