Haverhill’s Hillies better bundle up for Thursday’s Thanksgiving Day game against Lowell—because it’s still planned for 10 a.m. despite the predicted deep-freeze in the forecast.

Coach Tim O’Connor’s 4-6 Hillies are on the road this year, headed to Cawley Stadium for the annual Lowell game. This year, Lowell High goes into the face-off with a record of 5-5. WHAV plans to cover the action live starting with a 9:30 a.m. pregame show.

Several area high schools—including Andover and Methuen—made the decision early Tuesday to reschedule their football games to Wednesday night to beat the chill.
