The riverbank of the Merrimack on the outskirts of Trinity Stadium is getting a makeover. This week, Haverhill’s Department of Public Works announced the kickoff of a stabilization project that will repair eroded areas of the riverbank in the city’s Riverside neighborhood.
To carry out work, the back parking lot of Trinity Stadium will be closed through spring 2019. Stadium patrons are asked to park in alternative lots with the exception of on Thanksgiving Day, when all lots will be open and available for athletic events.
