The Greater Haverhill Chamber of Commerce invites residents and businesses to decorate their own street lamp with a holiday wreath displayed during the city’s Christmas Stroll.
Haverhill residents and local businesses are invited to help bring holiday cheer to the city’s downtown district.
As part of the Greater Haverhill Chamber of Commerce’s latest fundraising effort, locals who donate $125 are able to hang a holiday wreath from a downtown streetlamp, with an accompanying banner bearing the donor’s name or business. Wreaths will make their first appearance in time for the Friday, Dec. 7 Christmas Stroll and remain throughout the holiday season, organizers said. Sponsored wreaths will hang along Merrimack Street, Washington Street, Wingate Street and parts of Essex Street.
All wreaths must be reserved before Nov. 23 by calling the Chamber at 978-373-5663.
