Haverhill Police are on the hunt for a masked man they say brandished a knife when he robbed a 7-11 convenience store twice in two weeks.

Surveillance footage shows the suspect, said to be a male in his 20s with a thin build, wearing a black and gray hooded Puma sweatshirt during the Sept. 21 incident. The second robbery attempt on Oct. 11 saw the same suspect enter the South Main Street convenience store in a two-tone black jacket with a hoodie underneath.

In both cases, the suspect wore a bandana to disguise his face and carried a knife with a green handle or green blade. Police say the man appeared nervous during the alleged crimes.

During the September robbery, the masked man made off with what police called a “substantial” amount of money. His attempt to grab cash was thwarted by a store clerk the second time around. He may have fled in a tan SUV.
