Elsewhere on the ballot, Haverhill’s freshman state Rep. Andy Vargas is all but guaranteed a second term on Beacon Hill as he runs unopposed. State Rep. Diana DiZoglio hopes voters will elevate her to state Senate, with the Methuen lawmaker facing off against Amesbury Republican Alexander Leighton Williams.

Locally, newcomer Christina Eckert hopes to unseat incumbent Rep. Lenny Mirra in the 2nd district. North Andover’s Christina Minicucci faces off against Ryan Losco in the 14th district. Longtime state Rep. Linda Dean Campbell hopes to keep her 15th district seat and triumph over unenrolled Methuen candidate Anand Gonsalves.

This year, voters across the state will also sound off on three ballot questions, covering topics including nurse staffing and transgender rights.

Polls are open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. in Haverhill. To determine your voting location, visit the State’s website and enter your street address.
