Residents in and around Sandown, N.H., are asked to help hungry neighbors in need this holiday season by taking part in a donation drive for the Sandown Food Pantry that runs until Thursday, Nov. 15.
Donations of Thanksgiving staples like stuffing mix, canned gravy, cranberry sauce and 5-lb. bags of potatoes may be dropped off at Town Hall, 320 Main St., or at the Food Pantry, 1 Hampstead Road. Supermarket gift cards are also welcomed.
Families able to donate turkeys are asked to contact Arlene Bassett at 603-887-3453 in advance of any drop-offs.
