Tuesday, Nov. 6

Board of Assessors meets between 9 and 10 a.m., in the Assessor’s office, room 115 at Haverhill City Hall. The meeting revolves around a classification hearing concerning the valuation of properties throughout Haverhill.

It is City Assessor Christine Webb’s final preparation before she discusses the overall valuation of Haverhill with the City Council Tuesday, Nov. 13.  More specifically, Webb will delve into the residential factor for various properties throughout the city, which determines how much of a tax levy each property will owe based on their zoning status. Webb will also discuss the average values of residential, commercial, industrial properties in Haverhill. Webb says despite the values of residential properties creeping upwards slightly as of late, her office’s findings should not include any big surprises.
