Carol Ann (Williams) Goodwin, 75, Home Health Aide

Carol Ann (Williams) Goodwin, 75, passed away Nov. 1 at Wingate Nursing Home in Haverhill.

Born in Haverhill, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Emily (Doucette) Williams. Raised and educated in Haverhill, Goodwin attended St. James Grammar School and was a graduate of Haverhill High School, Class of 1960. She was employed for many years as a home health aide with Home Health Services, Homecare, Inc.. She was part of the local CB Radio Club, Howes Helping Hands, and enjoyed calling bingo at the Judson House where she lived for many years. A devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother, she will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Goodwin is survived by her loving children, Shelli and her husband, George Martinson of Havana, Fla.; Jean Thomas Fort Drum, N.Y.; Joseph Bovio of Ashland, Ky.; her beloved grandchildren, Paul and Kelsey Goodwin, Jonathan and Cathy Goodwin, Todd Bovio, Kristin Bartlett, Rachel and Mark Caylor, Alyssa Thomas, PVT Gerald Thomas, Brigal Thomas, Tara Martinson and Aron Martinson; 17 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her siblings, Leo Williams, Robert Williams, Charles Williams Jr., Joanne Stevenson and Arthur Williams.

Family and friends are invited to attend a calling hour on Monday, Nov. 5 from 9-10 a.m. at the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main St., Haverhill. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:30 a.m. in St. James Church, Winter Street, Haverhill. Burial will be in St. James Cemetery, Primrose Street, Haverhill. Donations may be made in her memory to Veterans Northeast Outreach Center, 65 Cedar St., Haverhill, MA 01830
