Mildred R. “Millie” (Corrozza) DiFloures, 85, wife of Bernardo DiFloures, passed away Oct. 30 at Wingate Nursing Home in Haverhill with her loving family by her side.
Born in Lawrence, she was the daughter of the late Vincenzo and Emma (DiNoto) Corrozza. Raised and educated in Lawrence, she was a graduate of Lawrence High School, Class of 1951. She then attended Business School. DiFloures was employed for many years as a payroll supervisor for the Greico Brothers at Southwick in Lawrence. She was a communicant of All Saints Church in Haverhill. She was known for her beautiful cross-stitching, which she created for her family and friends. A devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, DiFloures will fondly be remembered for her wonderful cooking and many happy memories. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
In addition to her loving husband Bernardo, DiFloures is survived by her children, Bernardo DiFloures Jr. of Haverhill; Eric J. DiFloures and his wife Jane of Franklin; Lynne R. Keogh and her husband John P. of Haverhill; her sister, Angelina Fazio of North Andover; her beloved grandchildren, Jennifer Tessier and her husband Matthew, Nicole Stone and her husband Joshua, Bernardo DiFloures, Savannah DiFloures, Damon Hunkins and his wife Heather Morris, Jake DiFloures and Abby DiFloures ; four great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister Rose Longo-Augustine and brother-in-law James Fazio.
Family and friends are invited to calling hours on Friday, Nov. 2 from 4-7 p.m. at the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main St., Haverhill. Funeral services will be on Saturday at 11 a.m. in the funeral home.
