Sherril D. (Brunelle) Deveau, 75

Sherril D. (Brunelle) Deveau, 75, wife of George C. Deveau with whom she shared 50 years of marriage, passed away Oct. 28 with her loving family by her side.

Born in Haverhill, she was the daughter of the late Normand and Virginia (Fauth) Brunelle. Raised and educated in Haverhill, Deveau attended Pentucket High School. She was employed in the shoe industry and as a lunch monitor. She enjoyed camping at Pine Knoll Camping Grounds and being with her family. Known as a “gamer,” Deveau loved playing 45’s and Scrabble as well as being an avid reader. She bowled for many years at Pilgrim Lanes. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

In addition to her loving husband George C. Deveau, she is survived by her children, James N. Deveau and his wife Robin of Amesbury; Pamela J. O’Leary and her husband Scott of Maple Grove, Minn.; Julie A. Greene and her husband William of Groveland; Joseph M. Deveau and his partner Elisa Parolisi of Haverhill; Tracie L. Guarino and her husband Tory of Haverhill; seven grandchildren, Kimberly Harlow, Rachel Deveau, Tyler O’Leary, Paige O’Leary, Taylor Guarino, Joshua Greene, Amanda Greene; two great-grandchildren, Ava Harlow and Kayden Harlow; sisters, Bonnie Hunt and her husband Rory of Danvers; Beverly Berry and her husband Steve of Bradford; Deidre Hunt and her husband Glen of Peabody; and several nieces and nephews; and her best friends Elizabeth “Betty” Dehart and Elizabeth “Little Betty” Girard. She was predeceased by her sister Maureen Brunelle.

Family and friends are invited to attend calling hours on Thursday, Nov. 1 from 5-7 p.m. at the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main St., Haverhill. Funeral services will be Friday morning in the funeral home at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery, Salem Street, Bradford.
