Five Arrested By Merrimack River For Allegedly Trafficking Fentanyl

Three men and two women are charged with Fentanyl trafficking and other crimes after being arrested Friday afternoon in the city’s River Street rest area.

Haverhill Police Narcotics Unit also seized 160 grams of suspected fentanyl, suboxone and cash when making the arrests between about 2:45 and 4:15.

Charged with fentanyl trafficking and conspiracy to violate drug laws were 60-year-old Robin Butruccio; 31-year-old Holly Lakin; 32-year-old Randol Santana Lopez; 56-year-old Frances Santa Rodriguez; and Russell Bachelder, 52, all of Avon, Maine. Butruccio was also charged with being a fugitive from justice, possession of a Class B drug, and conspiracy. Lakin and Rodriguez were both also charged with conspiracy to violate drug laws. Lopez was also charged with conspiracy to violate drug laws and operating a motor vehicle with a license.

All are scheduled to be arraigned in Haverhill District Court.
