The Haverhill School Committee plans to again delve into the outside financial audit that highlighted successes—and shortcomings—in the city’s schools on Thursday night.

This week’s discussion follows the release of the 80-page audit from the Massachusetts Association of School Business Officials, which the Committee first unpacked Oct. 11.

Committeeman Richard J. Rosa saw value in the commission of the study. “I think we should use this as a way to follow-up moving forward. Some of them cost money, but there’s a lot of things that’ll help us be more efficient financially. I’m glad we have a roadmap to improve,” the attorney said during the Oct. 11 session.

Also during Thursday’s meeting, the Committee plans to discuss an upcoming field trip to Washington, D.C. for Consentino eighth graders, and share an updated report on October’s enrollment numbers across the district.

97.9 WHAV FM plans to broadcast the meeting live starting at 7 p.m. from the Theodore A. Pelosi Jr. Chambers at Haverhill City Hall. The session also streams live at whav dot net.
