Mildred S. (Davis) Mackie, 83, of Haverhill, wife of the late Harold M. Mackie, passed away Oct. 14, surrounded by her family.
Born in Newburyport, she was the daughter of the late Fred W. and Beatrice L. (Bragdon) Davis. Raised and educated in Haverhill, she was a graduate of Haverhill High School. Mackie was employed as a cook at Oxford Manor, Haverhill, for many years. She assisted with Bingo games at the Plains Bingo Hall where she made many friends. She enjoyed crocheting, knitting and was an avid reader. She loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them.
Mackie is survived by several nieces and nephews. She was the last of 15 siblings who passed before her.
Funeral services are private. Arrangements are by Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main St., Haverhill.
