Haverhill Police Arrest Maine Woman for Alleged Cocaine, Fentanyl Trafficking

A Sanford, Maine woman was arrested by Haverhill Police Friday, charged with alleged cocaine and fentanyl trafficking.

According to a city arrest log, Detective Sean M. Scharneck was patrolling the area near 1250 River Street—which carries traffic on routes 110 and 113—when he pulled 62-year-old Teresa Smith over for a marked lanes violation just after 4 p.m. on Oct. 19.

Elsewhere in the city over the weekend, Haverhill Police arrested Franklin Street resident Franklyn Cruz-Vasquez for alleged drunken driving on Sunday, Oct. 21.

Concord, N.H.’s Andrew Smith was also arrested for operating under the influence of alcohol on Sunday. Taken into custody on Broadway by Officer Kevin Billings, the 31-year-old must also answer to charges relating to the unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and leaving the scene of property damage, police said.
