Several city agencies are partnering with Methuen’s Economic Development Committee for 2018’s Methuen Day, planned this year for Saturday, Oct. 13.

Historical tours, a scavenger hunt and live entertainment are on tap from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Local celebrities including Police Chief Joseph E. Solomon and state Rep. Diana DiZoglio will step inside a dunk tank and hope to stay dry as patrons offer their best shots.

To accommodate outdoor seating, food and craft vendors, streets will be closed off from the Liban D’or store to the intersection of Hampshire Street and Broadway.

The Methuen Fire and Police Departments also plan open houses on Saturday.

Admission to Methuen Day is free and open to all.
