Thomas A. Carr, 68, Vietnam War Veteran

Thomas A. Carr, 68, of Haverhill passed away peacefully on Thursday, Oct. 4 at High Pointe House in Haverhill surrounded by his loving family. He was the devoted husband of Joan Gaillardet.

Born on June 30, 1950 in Beverly, Carr lived in Marblehead during his early youth. He was a graduate of Marblehead High School, class of 1969. Carr honorably served in the United States Navy as a corpsman during the Vietnam War. He enjoyed fishing, dancing and spending time with family and friends. He will be dearly missed and forever remembered for his love for life and devotion to family.

Carr is survived by his devoted wife Joan Gaillardet of Haverhill and daughter Christine Prescott of Hampton, N.H. He will also be dearly remembered by extended family and countless friends.

Services are private and are in the care of The Grondin-Carnevale Funeral Home, 129 Kenoza Ave., Haverhill, MA 01830.
