Lace up those sneakers: The sixth annual Campus Classic 5K kicks off Northern Essex Community College’s Homecoming Weekend festivities on Saturday, Oct. 13.
Open to walkers and runners, the 5K is $25 for those who register by October 11. Race-day RSVPs are also accepted for an additional fee. Northern Essex students may take part for $10 by providing their campus ID number.
A disc jockey, food and beer service and fall-themed kids’ activities including pumpkin decorating are planned throughout the day after the race starts at 10 a.m. The afternoon concludes with the Northern Essex Volleyball game at noon and a pie-eating contest at 1 p.m.
