Benefit for Merrimack Valley Explosion Victims Is This Week in Newburyport

Two weeks after the widespread gas explosion that caused a ripple effect of devastation across Andover, North Andover and Lawrence, area locals continue to come together to support their Merrimack Valley neighbors.

On Thursday, a benefit for victims and families impacted by the September 13 disaster takes place at the Newburyport Elks Lodge, 25 Low St., from 6-9 p.m. Music, food and a cash bar are planned, along with raffles.
