Haverhill’s loss is Salem’s gain. After a six-year stint on the Haverhill Police Department, Detective Ruben Jimenez has transferred to the Salem, N.H. force and was welcomed to his new position in during a swearing-in ceremony this week.
Jimenez joins Salem’s ranks alongside fellow new officer Nick Manent, who transferred in after serving four years with the University of New Hampshire Police Department.
The new officers will soon hit the streets under the supervision of field training officers, Salem, N.H., police said.
