Haverhill Police Arrest Two Maine Men for Fentanyl Trafficking

Two 29-year-old Maine men were arrested Tuesday by Haverhill Police for allegedly trafficking fentanyl in the city’s Central Plaza.

According to police, Levi Hanson and Joseph Wheeler were taken into custody by Officer Dana Burrill Jr., at 2 Water St., around 5 p.m. on September 18. The men were charged with one count each of fentanyl trafficking and conspiracy to violate drug laws.

Hanson must also answer to a warrant-related drug possession charge, police said.
