Haverhill Cultural Council Grant Information Night Is Wednesday

Representatives from the Haverhill Cultural Council’s grant committee welcome potential applicants to learn more about the process during an information session on Wednesday, Sept. 19 at the Welcome Street Citizens Center.

Council chairwoman Alison Colby-Campbell tells WHAV the night kicks of at 7 p.m. with a question and answer session for non-profit groups and individuals interested in applying for a grant during the application period that runs until October 15.

Supported by the City of Haverhill, Office of Mayor James J. Fiorentini and the Massachusetts Cultural Council, the Haverhill Cultural Council awards annual funding for local programs, field trips and other community events. Previous events made possible through Cultural Council grants include the 30th annual Plug Pond Pow-Wow and a Merrimack Valley Concert Band Performance at Haverhill Crossing, among others.
