National Jewish Book Award-winning novelist Rachel Kadish stops by Haverhill’s Temple Emanu-El on Sunday, Sept. 16 for the first installment of the house of worship’s annual Breakfast With the Author Series.

A continental breakfast is served starting at 9:30 a.m. before Kadish’s 10 a.m. lecture. The author plans to discuss and sign copies of her latest book “The Weight of Ink,” which was also awarded the Association of Jewish Libraries inaugural Fiction Award.

Several other author events are scheduled through January, with $10 tickets available by calling the Temple at 978-373-3861.
