The latest construction work in a $13 million improvement of Methuen’s I-93 and Route 213 is set to impact overnight travel on Tuesday, Sept. 4 and Wednesday, Sept. 5, the Massachusetts Department of Transportation confirms.

Temporary closures of the I-93 southbound Exit 48 off-ramp (toward Route 213 eastbound) and Route 213 westbound in Methuen take place between the hours of 10 p.m.-4 a.m. to facilitate paving efforts.

All lanes of travel on I-93 will be maintained during the overnight work, with crews and signage used to detour drivers to the area of Pelham Street, MassDOT said.
