The Haverhill home targeted by gunfire late Sunday was the subject of a 2015 drug raid that netted prescription pills and more than $2,000 in cash.

In 2015, Haverhill Police descended on 257 Lowell Ave., near the Westgate shopping plaza to execute a search warrant connected to a narcotics unit investigation. As WHAV reported at the time, Meagan Oliver of Haverhill, Hector Negron of Lawrence, James Silva of Plaistow, N.H. and Brad Barber of Raymond, N.H., were arrested and charged with possession of Percocet. Police also seized $2,100 in cash said to be drug proceeds.

It is unclear if any of those arrested three years ago live or have lived at the address.

No injuries were reported following Sunday’s shots aimed at the home, Haverhill Police Capt. Stephen J. Doherty Jr. told WHAV. Officers were alerted to gunfire at the single-family cape-style home—opposite the entrance to Hadley West Drive—just before 10 p.m.

Police continue to investigate the weekend incident, and ask anyone with knowledge of the shooting to call in a tip to 978-373-1212.
