A 45-year-old Haverhill man was taken into custody by Haverhill Police Monday for allegedly assaulting an officer, among other charges.
Lloyd Jennings, of 6 Lancaster St., was arrested by Officer Branden Sheehy just after midnight at his home, according to a city arrest log.
In addition to the alleged assault charge, Jennings also must answer to charges relating to defacing property, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct.
