Haverhill’s bravest invite families and runners of all ages and abilities to join in their third annual 5K road race downtown on Sunday, Sept. 9 from 11:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m.
This year’s race kicks off at Smith’s Tavern on Essex Street, with prizes awarded to the top three male and female finishers. The route travels along the downtown waterfront over the Basiliere Bridge into Bradford and past the Bradford Fire Station on Route 125 before participants return to the Essex Street finish line.
Registration is $32 for participants who sign up before September 7 at noon. Kids age 10 and under can join in the fun for $22.
