Dale V. Madigan, 69, Retired from Ward Hill’s Dynawave

Dale V. Madigan, 69, a lifelong Haverhill resident, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 24, 2018, surrounded by his family.

He was born on Sept. 16, 1948 in Haverhill, the son of the late Bruce and Bertha (Gosselin) Madigan. Madigan attended Haverhill Public Schools and graduated from Haverhill Trade School. He worked for many as a cable tester for Dynawave until his retirement.

His activities included being a member of the Crescent Yacht Club in Bradford, the Haverhill Lodge of Elks and he was a former participant and instructor of the Haverhill VFW Post 29Shoemaker’s Drum and Bugle Corp.

Surviving family members include his loving wife of 35 years Kimberley A. (Welch) Madigan, cherished children Amy E. Croft and husband Gary and Joshua G. Welch and wife Lorraine, grandchildren Morgan E. Croft and Elliot (Leo) G. Welch, siblings Frank Madigan and wife Evelyn of Jacksonville, Fla., Maureen Haseltine of Haverhill and Timothy Madigan of Kingston, N.H. He was the uncle of several nieces and nephews who he had a special place in his heart. Madigan was predeceased by his daughter Laurie Madigan and brother Gary Madigan.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, Aug. 30, in the Driscoll Funeral Home, 309 South Main St., Haverhill from 2-5 p.m. Services will begin at 5 p.m. Flowers can be sent, or contributions may be made in Madigan’s memory to the charity of your choice.
