Trooper Kevin Delgado pulled over a 2005 Subaru he observed to be speeding and once the vehicle stopped, Delgado noticed several suspected marijuana plants in the car in plain view, State Police said.

Following the arrest of 19-year-old driver Brianna Pomerantz of Devens, and 32-year-old passenger Lucas Thayer of Harvard, Delgado seized 115 suspected marijuana plants, more than three pounds of a substance believed to be marijuana and drug-related items from the car.

Both released on personal recognizance, Pomerantz and Thayer will be arraigned in Lawrence District Court on Monday.
