Haverhill’s residents have a story to tell and the Main Street library is helping them do just that on Thursday, Aug. 30. Along with Buttonwoods, Historic New England and POSE, the Library puts on a free “Human Book” exhibit from 7-8:30 p.m. in the second floor auditorium.

The brainchild of city resident Kat Everett, the “Human Book” event offers patrons the opportunity to “check out” a real person and hear their story in an effort to promote dialogue among residents.

Those interested in telling their story during the event may contact Everett at [email protected].
